To day Gordon Brown had a go at DC for going to Eton. This I exspect will be the way Labour will run the election. This,so called, 'toff bashing' I never understood. As a Conservative I alway believe it dose not matter on race, religion, class or what school you wen't to just on the individual. So if you look at the two individual David Cameron and Gordon Brown I know which individual will be the best PM with out seeing which school or religion they wen't to or are.
It aways got me when the Labours extremist left try to toff bash when there hero is that Westminster School old boy, the 2nd Viscount Stansgate aka. Tony Benn. This is not the only example of toff, toff bashers.
In Crewe I was in a hotel with the Labour mob. The night of the toff bashing stunt I had the drink with the face of the stunt Alex Norris who is Labours agent in Nottingham. He, as reported at the time, wen't to Manchester Grammar. We had a good chat about cricket and the difference between being a members of the MMC member of Lanchester CC. Also how his tails suit was incomplete without a waistcoat, he new how to were one properly he told me. It just shows that Labour and the Conservatives are as well educated as each other, it just the Conservatives are more open then Labour.
